Biochemistry is a laboratory based course and hence lab is very essential for the course. The PG Deparment of Biochemistry has got well equipped separate UG and PG laboratories with all the sophisticated instruments needed for the Curriculum prescribed by the Calicut University norms. The UG laboratory furnished with excellent infrastructure including proper ventilation system for qualitative and quantitative analysis of biochemical compounds. The PG lab is air conditioned and equipped with Shimadzou UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Remi C24 BL Cooling Centrifuge, Deep Freezer etc which all cab be used for research purposes also.
