NUTRIVE'24

Markaz Arts & Science College, Athavanad, Tirur, in collaboration with the Department of Food Safety, Malappuram, will host NUTRIVE'24, a Food Fortification Awareness Campaign on 15th October 2024. The event will feature a Seminar, Demonstrations, and a Food Fest to highlight the importance of food fortification for better nutrition. Supported by organizations like FSSAI, Eat Right India, and the Kerala Commissionerate of Food Safety, the campaign aims to promote healthier food choices. All are welcome to participate and learn more about fortified foods and their benefits to health.

HEARING IMPAIRMENT

"A sensitization program on hearing impairment" was organized at Markaz BEd Block on September 30, 2024, from 10 to 11 PM. The event was hosted by PAMTIC Association in collaboration with the Department of Psychology of Markaz Arts & Science College, Athavanad. Amina Hana, an alumnus of Markaz and a graduate of St John of God College of Special Education, Kottayam, was the keynote speaker. The program aimed to raise awareness and understanding of hearing impairment among students and faculty. The session was well-received and highlighted the importance of inclusive education.

Congratulations to Dr. Seena P. on Receiving Her Ph.D.

The Management and Staff Club of Markaz Arts and Science College proudly extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Seena P., Head of the Department, for successfully earning her Ph.D. from Bharathiyar University.
