The Department of Microbiology was established with UG programme in the year 2013. Main objective of the programme is to impart knowledge in various field of microbiology and to develop skills in the use and care of laboratory equipment, explore possibilities in Microbiology. Laboratories are the main highlights of the department, that are well equipped with basic tools for experimental activities. B.Sc. Microbiology laboratory located in the ground floor at room number 21, of college premises with facilities needed for the UG Microbiology as well as for students from B.Sc. & M.Sc. Biochemistry. The laboratory sessions are handled by able and efficient faculties and lab attender. All the instruments are available for students for their experimental purpose which helps them to get hands-on- experience.
